Pop Box, London 2015
Pop Box is the event venue of Pop Brixton, a temporary project that has turned disused land into a creative space for local, independent retailers, restaurants, street food startups and social enterprises.
Steph Gallia designed the interiors of the Pop Box bar and private dining venue in preparation for its main opening event.
The private dining venue is used for various pop up events and supper clubs, and was designed to create a playful, memorable backdrop for any brand or event identity. Bold colour and suggestively animated surfaces were used to make the most of limited space and accentuate areas of focus.
In contrast to the dining space, the Pop Box bar was designed as a more exciting, even sinister space for visitors to pass through within the event venue. A multicolour fluorescent lighting pattern across the ceiling draws Pop Boxers through the space.
